“In a city that is obsessed with health food and juicing, it is nice to have a place where you can sit in a chic environment and have this kind of food,” says Christopher Wolf, 30, an art adviser who lives on the Upper West Side.

The menu reads like a compendium of Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop newsletters. You can order risotto made with lentils, not rice, and while there are five options for milk for your coffee — including almond, soy and hemp — there’s no half-and-half.
