Ian Nicholson is a seasoned hospitality professional with over twenty-seven years of domestic and international hotel management and development experience, specifically focused on unique, one-of-a-kind hotel environments. He has collaborated with some of the hospitality industry’s most iconoclastic visionaries and creative minds and brings a unique resumé, point of view and perspective to Alchemy's projects.

Prior to forming PARTNERS & ALCHEMY, he was CEO of Faena Hotels, overseeing the $1BN development of the Faena District urban project in Miami Beach, FL. Prior to Faena he served as Sr. Vice President of Operations and Managing Director for HotelsAB, the lifestyle hotel group comprised of eight unique hotels owned and operated by renowned hotelier André Balazs including the Standard Hotel Brand, The Chateau Marmont, Mercer and Sunset Beach Hotels. He also held the role of Area General Manager for the Soho Grand and the Tribeca Grand Hotels in NYC and worked for noted hotelier and nightlife visionary Ian Schrager as Opening General Manager of the 1000-room Hudson Hotel in New York. Nicholson started his career with the InterContinental Hotel Group where he worked for 12 years and held various management positions in Miami, New York, London and Amsterdam.

Adam Patrizia
Chief Intelligence Officer

Adam Patrizia brings over 16 years of experience in consumer marketing, customer relationship servicing, and business development to the industry. Previously, Patrizia founded Jackal+Co., a consultancy group that advised authentic hotels and restaurants on brand growth, consumer servicing and culture programming. Patrizia served as CMO at Hotel Insider, where he was responsible for all brand redevelopment, product strategy, customer relationship management, brand partnerships, and more.

As a seasoned hospitality professional with an extensive background in the marketing industry, Patrizia brings valuable assets to grow consumer engagement and company development through innovative and efficient techniques. Patrizia has also served as Director, Customer Relationship Management at HotelsAB, where he focused on customer interaction strategies and servicing throughout eight Andre Balazs properties across the U.S. Patrizia has also held significant marketing positions at luxury publications and leading agencies including Departures magazine, Surface magazine, and LaForce+Stevens.
